I’m very sorry that I haven’t posted in the last two days but I have food poisoning. I can’t eat and haven’t for the last three days. I’m extremely tired and keeping up with the group is a struggle, so taking pictures isn’t my priority. I have a few from yesterday but that’s it. Sorry and I’ll try to post more tomorrow. Now for the part you really care about.
On Wednesday we went to school and were able to answer questions about American Culture during a meeting. In the afternoon we had a tour of the town of Céret. After that we all drove to the train station to leave for Paris. It was very hard leaving and nobody can wait till the French students come in October. After two connector trains our group got on the overnight train for Paris. Our 12-person group was split into two rooms. It was 6 people in a space 1.5 x 2 yards big….. or should I say small. Let’s just say it took a little time to situate everybody and their baggage. Once we arrived in Paris we were shuttled to our hotel. From there we walked around and in Sacre Couer. There were many interesting spots that nobody had any idea about beforehand. After that we took the Metro to the Tuilerie gardens by the Louvre. We had a nice break there before going on a bus tour. While the bus tour was frustrating because what you could see was very limited, it did provide interesting facts such as “The Eiffel Tower is painted every 7 years by mountain-climber-painters with 60 tons of paint.” After the bus tour we returned to our hotel for a break. After our quick rest we went to the Champs-Elysees for the evening. We were able to shop and eat along the grand street. After that we took pictures by the Arc de Triomphe and returned to our hotel.

So sorry you’ve been sick. I told Papa yesterday that you must be sick because you haven’t written for two days. I hope you’re feeling better. Light soup would be a goodway to start. NO dairy. Eat light so your digestive track can heal itself and enjoy your time in Paris.
