Today, after a much needed full night of sleep, we ate a nice breakfast at our hotel and said goodbye to Barcelona. Our next stop was Montserrat. Nobody knew what was in store. We all thought it would be some random mountain, but it turned out to be a Benedictine Abbey. It has nice sweeping views and interesting geology. After the mountain itself, we viewed the interior of the monastery which had amazing architecture. Then we left to go to Ceret. Once we crossed the border into France we had to promise we’d speak French and French only. The home stay and full immersion began.
All together a fun time! Tomorrow we will visit school and Perpignan.

I was lucky to be assigned to Peter Polli from
Rutland, Vermont. The website also lists a variety of testimonials, offering unbiased reviews of his skills and abilities and the experiences of many of
his students. There are times that you should reverse
as you squeezed in your vehicle to a quite narrow space.
