Here is the student delegation to Port-Vendres. In twenty-two days we will be leaving for France! We have had three meetings to meet each other, practice our French, and prepare for international travel. Once we get to France we will only be allowed to speak English in emergency situations. Full immersion is the goal. We are all very excited for our trip and cannot wait. It will be a memorable experience for sure.
I am Erik Platt. (third from left, top row) I am 16 and am in my 4th year of French at Tabb High. I’ve traveled internationally before and I am thrilled to be returning to France! I will be one of two students who will be blogging during our trip. My pictures will be taken with a Sony HDR-AS15. I will also be taking videos and embedding them into my posts.
See you in three weeks!

Great post, Erik! We will be very excited to keep up with the adventures of the group as you meet new friends and experience new places, food and customs. it is very impressive that you will be immersing yourself in the language. And brave! When you post again, please let us know who all will be going.
